_Tokenized Lore: Evolving Alien Worlds' Lore with New Technologies, Races, and Cultures

Alien Worlds is embarking on creating a Community-Governed Sci-Fi Franchise leveraging AI that we are calling “Tokenized Lore.” Here, the community will ultimately decide what is and is not canon. It’s analogous to the fans of Star Wars or Marvel deciding on where the overall universe goes. This is not to say that committees will design specific stories, but our community will decide what the official collection of stories will be. These stories can be used in media like games, animated series, comics, art, and more.

The Federation would like to thank and congratulate the Custodians of the Planetary Syndicates for proposing and approving the recent proposal for the foundation of Tokenized Lore. This proposal was unanimously approved by every Planetary Syndicate. This lore evolution is the first step to bring a rich tapestry of new technologies, races, and cultures, weaving a deeper and more vibrant narrative into our beloved cosmos.

This week, we also announced our future vision and partnership with Kevin J. Anderson, celebrated Sci-Fi author, who helped develop the new lore foundation; check out the press release.

Respecting the Legacy, Embracing the Future

As we embark on this journey, it's crucial to emphasize that the introduction of these new lore elements is designed to enhance the original lore foundation of Alien Worlds. The old races that you've grown to love and adventure with are set for an exciting evolution. They will transition and become integral parts of new, diverse races. For example we plan to carry the Grays and LGP forward with a full refresh, but keeping their original spirit. This transformation symbolizes growth and progression, reflecting the dynamic nature of Alien Worlds.

NFTs: Preserving Your Collection

We understand the importance of your NFT collection and its value to you. Thus, we want to assure you that these new changes will not affect your current NFTs, nor could they because they are immutable. Your existing assets will remain as valuable and functional as they have always been. The new content is an addition, not a replacement, ensuring that your achievements retain their significance and worth.

Looking Ahead with Excitement

Over the next weeks and months we will be releasing proposed lore via Alien Worlds Twitter and email. We also want to see new lore from you, the community; be on the lookout for Galactic Hubs grant opportunities to create new lore and media. As soon as it's ready, we will release more information on how the tokenized governance of the Alien Worlds Lore will work and when you can vote! Join us as we step into this expanded universe, full of possibilities and adventures.
